02/26/2007: "Under the weather"

Just a note to let you know that the Lappie (Channa and Nate's computer) is back in the shop (again!), and I myself have been "under the weather" with some sort of bug... so no posting action here on the Living Green Farm blog. The only news worth mentioning is that the trench was inspected and approved, and the electrician has installed supports on the cow shed roof for the photovoltaic panels. We're still a few weeks away from gathering sunshine for the house, however, as his schedule is backed up with All The Rain We Get At This Time Of Year.

Oh, and we did hear that a bee hive is still definitely coming, courtesy of Karen and Tad. Shortly after Channa relayed that information to me I had a conversation with another parent at the school my daughters attend, and learned that this mother had once kept bees. She was, she said, still on the Ruhl Bee Supply mailing list in duplicate - the next day she gave me a catalog. So, I'll be placing an order for some basic beekeeping equipment this week!
